Women are the core of the Indian Society and they can be credible drivers of creating a new social mindset towards entrepreneurship. Women exposed to Entrepreneurship can easily change the social mindset of success, defined today in India by secure and stable jobs.
“Empowering Women Entrepreneurs” held by India SME Forum along with the Ministry of MSME, Govt. of India. With the purpose of inspiring and promoting the idea of entrepreneurship among women, the conference endeavors to support existing and aspiring Indian Women Entrepreneurs through providing a platform for sharing the knowledge, experiences and entrepreneurial journey of the most successful women entrepreneurs with other women, as well as for discussing the best practices and innovation in entrepreneurship with International experts.
So far, two editions of the Conference on “Empowering Women Entrepreneurs” have been successfully conducted. First edition held in Mumbai in 2019, was inaugurated by Shri Giriraj Singh, the former Minister of MSME, wherein 250 women entrepreneurs participated and benefitted from spotlight and panel discussion sessions. The same way, the second edition held in New Delhi in 2020, was inaugurated by Shri Nitin Gadkari, Hon’ble Minister of MSME, with the participation of a number of 350 women entrepreneurs.
