Women Entrepreneurs Forum, conducts “SHAKTI” – Women Entrepreneurs National Convention ” each year on Women’s Day 8th March with the aim of unlocking the true potential of women entrepreneurs of India comprising of a plenary conference, Exhibition and Awards.

In order to encourage the Women across the country, to strengthen their desire to start or nurture entrepreneurship, the Women Entrepreneurs Forum organises a Full day a workshop for Empowering Women Entrepreneurs into a New Paradigm & Supporting Women Entrepreneurs for Creating Brands & discussing Opportunities for Women in Business.

The convention has various sessions which discuss the ecosystem for business, incentives, availability of financing, key opportunities for women entrepreneurs, government schemes and subsidies, best practices and stories of successful women entrepreneurs called SPOTLIGHT. The Spotlight session features encouraging talks from the Guest Speakers & Award Winning Entrepreneurs, more importantly Successful Women Entrepreneurs who bear testimony to emerging successful due to an inherent overcoming nature of women in difficult situations and their strong willpower.

The convention also runs a parallel Market / Exhibition / Showcase titled Made Best by WOMEN wherein Products and Services of select Existing Women Entrepreneurs are invited from all over India and allocated free or subsidized Exhibition space for exhibiting select innovative products.

Awardees selected by the Jury are felicitated at the Convention in a special ceremony.

Startups and budding Women Entrepreneurs from Mumbai and all over India (450-500 ) attend the programme each year and is expected to grow with each passing year
