Taking the cue and inspiration from PM Modi's first speech in Parliament on May 20, 2014, where he pointed out the aspirations of India's mothers and daughters who are striving for their respect and honour, the board of India SME Forum, India's largest not for profit initiative for Small & Medium enterprises, decided to launch a dedicated platform for women.
Smt. Sumitra Mahajan, Hon'ble Speaker of the Lok Sabha, launched the WOMEN ENTREPRENEURS FORUM at Indore on June 1, 2014, in the presence of our Chairman, Shri. Prahlad Kakar.
Till June 2017, Women Entrepreneurs Forum has a 7000 strong member list from all across the country and we have engaged with over 14970 women startups and entrepreneurs, so far.
