"Empowering Women through Entrepreneurship"
National Commission for Women in association with MyGov, IIM Bangalore and India SME Forum invited applications from the aspiring women entrepreneurs. This training program was executed in collaboration with Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, to provide training, skills and growth opportunities that allow aspiring women entrepreneurs to start and accelerate their businesses.
This initiative aimed to help Women in India to get economically independent.

Women Entrepreneurs shared their ideas of Economic Independence and were assisted in getting training from IIM Bangalore in:

Evaluating & Researching Opportunities
Selecting a business
Setting up of an Enterprise
Getting funds and Availing Government Schemes


On successful completion of training, selected women were mentored, offered access to finance and ideas were incubated by India SME Forum.
